Fame Lab competition (The pyrenoid in 3 minutes)

Communicating science to a non-specialist is not an easy task, let alone condensing it into an accessible 3 minute portion. This is the challenge in the popular contests of Fame Lab and 3 Minute Thesis and hundreds of scientists compete every year to show their science communication skills.

This year Sabina was one of them and she took the stage to explain the importance of Rubisco and the ingenuity of the algal pyrenoid to an audience at Teesside University, where she placed second in the North East Final of the Fame Lab competition in April and then in June, where she took part in the York final of 3 Minute Thesis.
